We only use the best ingredients here at The Bay Tree:  wherever possible  we use  local produce, organic vegetables, fresh fish, and free-range meats. We strive to make each and every dish a wholesome expression of our love for food, life, and living.

 

The Bay Tree was born in March 2020 (well nearly - the Corona Virus put a halt to the grand opening). Our goal is to make the Bay Tree blossom into a thriving village community.  We offer a restaurant and bar, with quality, homely food to suit all appetites and budgets.  Sympathetically designed, with room for families, groups and parties of all sizes, we want any customer to feel like they can call The Bay Tree their extended home.  Want to hire an area, whole floor or even the whole restaurant for a special occasion?  Just ask us:  we would only be too happy help!

We now have seating for 80+ guests over 2 floors and fully stocked bars on each floor. There is real ale on tap with our home beers supplied by the kind people at Wye Valley Brewery, with guest beers changing regularly as well.  

In a long history at the heart of the village, as a pub, shop, cafe and restaurant, 116 High Street has provided nearly 140 years of uninterrupted service to Kinver residents and visitors alike. To continue that service we have just completed a major refurbishment of the restaurant and kitchen to take the Bay Tree forward towards another century.  Integral to our vision for modernisation was ensuring access for all, by providing a request entrance at the rear for disabled customers, and a new all-inclusive toilets now located downstairs.
